What Do You Use a Toast Fork For? ~ Six Sentence Sunday #SixsSunday

Six more from Wildly Inappropriate.

He reached over her shoulder to the plate rack, feeling for the ornate Victorian toast fork, palming the item so she couldn't see it.
The end designed for lifting toast from a tray wasn't quite the width of his palm, but that wasn't the end he planned to use. The handle wasn't as thick as a cock, but it was about seven inches long. It was hefty and roughly the diameter of a bottle cap at the widest point. He rubbed his thumb over the raised spiral pattern circling the handle. He thought the texture of the sterling would give her pleasure.

Outrage ~ Six Sentence Sunday #sixsunday

Six more from Wildly Inappropriate.

Honey chile, ever' woman's gonna pick her own pain.
That was her gram's favorite saying about men. Cynda had yet to find a man she felt was worth suffering for. She tried to see her beloved grandmother's face, to keep from unhooking the damn leash and starting the long walk back to the highway. She couldn't afford to dwell on the insult of being chained in some white man's yard, but fury burned within her that a black man would suggest this… this… outrage. It didn't take a genius to figure out this landowner must be some redneck who didn't want black neighbors.

Hot Summer Heroes Blog Hop ~ Huge B&N Gift Certificate Up For Grabs!

What kind of hero makes you melt?

Do you like the quiet, sensitive type, like the hero in Soft Sounds of Pleasure, Colton De Marco?
Colton stood frozen just inside Lila's garage, his eyes riveted on her gesture. It was like she'd stepped out of his head. She was dressed the same. Even her hair was the same, flowing out the back of a baseball cap, the same jail-break tendrils cuddling her face. The only difference he could see was that this time, when she raised the shirttail to her face, the two items making his cock hard were the adorable dimples just above her ass.
He wanted to swirl his tongue around those little dips.
He wanted to hold her till she cried her last tear.
He wanted to make her laugh.
He wanted her.
He gripped the potted orchid in his hand and adjusted his damn jeans. His movement finally caught her attention, because she dropped the shirt and glanced over her shoulder.
He smiled as she stepped to the radio and reached to turn the volume down. "Is that for me?" she asked.
Having Lila smile back at him was like basking in sunshine after a cold rain. He had to clear his throat before he could speak. "My way of saying thanks. Well, this and lunch, because if you're not busy, I'm going to insist."

Or perhaps you're more drawn to Colton's older and more dominant brother, Daniel, the hero in my upcoming release, Wildly Inappropriate?
(unedited excerpt)

"Last year Brian sent six skinny bleached blondes in bikinis. They were supposed to wash our trucks, I guess, but ended up washing each other." Some emotion flashed in his eyes. She thought it might've been scorn. "One of 'em wrote Brian's offer in shoe polish on my windshield." His expression became stern. "Getting those six back into that van was like herding wet cats. Two female customers who had their vehicles up on lifts and couldn't leave haven't been back to the shop since. Now, he's sent you. Why am I finding it so hard to throw you out?"
Cynda had no idea how to respond. The stinging handprints on her butt were warning enough not to think out loud.
"So, I hope like hell Brian picked your outfit and not you. It won't matter, really, because if you want to go through with this, I'll be choosing your clothes." He shoved his fingers through his hair, whirling away to begin pacing back and forth. "What's your name?"
The soft feeling his comment about her hair had induced evaporated with his insult, but she answered his question. "Cynda Avery."
He continued talking, his long legs eating up the distance between the back door and the table where she sat. His pacing made her think he was the one on a chain, but that made no sense. "I'm not going to put my cock in you, Cynda, but if you'll allow me the privilege, I want to make you come. Look at this as an exercise in trust. And to see if we're compatible, before we discuss anything else."
This white boy is nuts. Cute as hell, but crazier than a bedbug. She laughed harshly, so off-balance by his odd assortment of declarations she forgot she wasn't supposed to speak. "Yeah? And what's in that for you?"
"I'm a man who likes to take control, Cynda, but I don't object to proving I deserve to be in control of a woman's body."

Slavery ~ Six Sentence Sunday #sixsunday

Six more sentences from Wildly Inappropriate

What kind of black man would force a black woman show up at some old white dude's house, offering to reenact the Civil War—not the fighting part, but the slavery part?
She knew the answer. The kind of black man that claimed to be all about community, but in reality just stole houses from little old ladies like her grams.
She'd refused, but two days later had gone slinking back to his office, agreeing to try his plan. She'd had no other choice. Though she felt what he'd done to Grams was illegal, no lawyer in town would take her grandmother's case without payment. Tied like a dog to this truck, Cynda knew how abandoned puppies and kittens must feel when folks threw them out.

The quickie.
From Wildly Inappropriate, my September 8th release.

He'd come so close a couple of times, with women he thought understood what life as his woman entailed, only to end up being told he was a bastard and a caveman on their way out the door. While his parentage wasn't in question, his father's influence was surely what kept Dan a single man.
Why then, did he long to be just like his father, Rafe, ruling his woman and his offspring with unquestioned authority? Because all that had gotten either of them was alone. He wasn't like his baby brother Colton, who'd found love with a woman so stubborn she made Dan's teeth ache, or like Eric, whose relationships with women were so superficial it was a wonder to Dan his middle brother remembered the names of the women he dated.
He snorted softly. No, all he wanted was to pour his soul and his seed into one woman who'd want nothing more than to make him her world. Dan yanked his hand off his dick in disgust. He hadn't sunk low enough to jack off while peeping out his own kitchen window at a strange woman, even if she was trespassing.

He was a dinosaur and he knew it. The concept hadn't worked for Rafe and it'd worked out just as badly for Dan. Women were no longer content to stay home and raise a family. They wanted jobs and felt their equal paychecks gave them an equal say in family decisions.
Why was it was so barbaric to want to spoil and coddle one woman, and in return, expect her to honor his decisions in all ways? He'd given up trying to understand why that was true and just accepted it. He'd stay single, though, because apparently what he wanted was the new form of slavery in the current female way of thinking. Perhaps that was why he found the sight of the woman chained to his bumper so riveting.

No Control ~ Six Sentence Sunday #sixsunday

Another six from Wildly Inappropriate.

She had no control. No way to stop him from going too deep. Panic flushed through her. The act of forcing his cock down her throat was primitive, and her reaction was primal. She fought to breathe, struggled to free her arms so she could save herself from choking.
He paused, and a look of disappointment flitted across his face.
